There can be no more victims

because pity must die. Victimhood removes agency. And it may be neoliberal ideal, but we must take responsibility for every aspect of our lives. All humans are liars. Their worst offenses are their best defenses: the lies they tell themselves that maintain their position as a good person. Caught in the free play of signs. There can be no masters growing, if slave morality holds them down. If there are to be no more kings, then sing every man a king. You must have respect; you cannot budge against ultimate human quality of people beneath you. There cannot be pity. And suffering does not make you beautiful; it only seems like that before you get a proper dose of it. Real suffering is out there; don't be stupid. The end that crowns the pain. Require yourself to let go of your position—yes, you are different from them; you run on the logic of where you come from. They run on theirs. They are not beneath you—you just have more money. You likely have it because your parents had it. And they fed it to you. And you fed it to them. Now they wear a blazer and go to school on Saturday. There can be no more pity because with the pity comes the required response. Angry at the pity; angry that pity feeds the ego of the pitier, until they grow bored and the pity turns to disgust. With all accomplished people who lived you find, in the end, they just said "yes" to life. What all the striving and self-directed cruelty you have been doing all along is working through suffering to resolve on yes. It didn't make you beautiful; it just showed that you're middle-class. When you turn the cruelty outward, that is how you become rich. You cannot affirm the value of another person's when your pity makes it lesser-than.
