Literary Criticism
Aeden Cade is pure aesthetics. Weight, light, heat. What I am called to do—what is logical for me in terms of value regarding literary criticism—is to lead the reader into developing their sensitivity towards beauty in writing. For the humans of today, seeing is the most heightened sense. I would never suggest taking away the Soul of literature (not possible, in whatever case), but it might be that sight is the new sound, that meaning is shown, not told, and since speech currently exists as an occasion to be entertained by beautiful people, let people be instructed on words and their beauty; maybe someday they will hear them.
