Capitalization Wrap

STORY: A man trying to finance his rental house is told my his wife that he mishandled the process because the loan officer has not responded to any of his messages. She proceeds to insult him. But he knows that the loan officer knows that there is nothing to talk about: they are just waiting to hear back from the title company about insurance on the title. He has paused the appraiser, which will slow things down, but he does not want to chance the appraisal fee if the title company will decline to insure. He knows that if that happens, he will be forced to find the man whose house he bought at a Sheriff's Sale and who he needed the cops present into to evict him from the house. When the title company does decline, he finds the address of the man and visits the house, but no one is home. It is well-kept in a lesser neighborhood of the town. He remembers that he did allow the man to stay in the house through Christmas, which cost him two months—hopefully, that is worth something. He didn't want to work during Christmas anyway if it is not.
